Reading a collagen label: servings, allergens and price

Compare collagen products on the same basis: the amount per recommended daily serving, the full ingredients and the number of servings. A jar’s total weight does not tell you how much collagen you use each day.
1. Check the serving
Valley Glow contains 10,000 mg bovine collagen per serving; Ocean Glow contains 8,000 mg fish collagen. Both one-time jars contain 20 servings. Subscription pouches contain 30 servings. A higher number alone does not guarantee a better result.
2. Read the allergens
Ocean Glow contains fish. Valley Glow contains glucosamine from crustaceans. Check the other ingredients for your chosen flavour too. Fish collagen is animal-derived and is not vegan.
3. Calculate the price per serving
Divide the product price by the number of servings. For example, €45 for 20 servings is €2.25 per serving, excluding any shipping. For subscriptions, also compare delivery frequency and minimum term. Always check the product page for the current price.
